Mission

I am very grateful for my experience as a graphic design intern at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, IA. Mercy Medical Center is all about making sure everyone has a great healthcare experience. At Mercy Medical Center, you will recieve the "Mercy Touch," which essentially means you will be cared for by compassionate staff who genuinely care and want to help you in any way they can.

Challenges

My biggest challenge at Mercy Medical Center was learning how to be creative within the brand guidelines. I felt I learned so much throughout my internship and expanded my creative thinking.

Goal

My goal was to learn as much as I could throughout my time at Mercy Medical Center and be able to deliver meaningful designs that support the mission of Mercy.

Solution

I worked a variety of projects at Mercy Medical Center including 'Vitals,' the bi-weekly newsletter, flyers, and invitations,

I designed the layout and structure for 'Vitals,' the bi-weekly newsletter. I incorporated some creative graphics to highlight the topics of some of the sections.
